Amelia this past week has been competing in the 2026 New Zealand Short Course Swimming Championships. She swam as a Australian Visitor (V). She swam 15 races in 5 days (heats & finals). She had an amazing meet with the following results:

We have a Gold 🥇from Chloe in the 16 years 200 free and an Australian Record from Emma in the 17 years 200 free from the heats this morning. Poor Emma fell down the stairs this afternoon which has badly injured her ankle so no more swimming this Nationals. Emma wanted to swim against everyone’s wishes in the final but the dive proved to be just too painful. It just wasn’t meant to be this time. EMMA YOU STILL HAVE-THE RECORD!!

Also, touching the wall with two hands in breast stroke. Staying on his back and remembering his stroke count for backstroke and nailing his dive into his under-waters and break outs. The effort it has taken week in and week out to get to this point is what I think I am most proud of Freddie 💪🏼😉👍🏻
